You want to know if Microsoft® SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 is supported for use with Autodesk Data Management Server or Productstream™.

Solution

Microsoft® SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 is not supported for use with Autodesk Data Management Server 2009, Productstream™ (Server) 2009, or any other previous versions of these products.

Note: This applies to both the full and Express versions of SQL Server 2005.

Important note for Microsoft Update users:

Microsoft Update upgrades all instances of SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2005 SP3. For example, if you have two instances of SQL Server 2005 running on your computer, both instances will be upgraded to SQL Server 2005 SP3.
